My name is Sydnie Strider and I am a recent grad trying to figure out life as an adult, like the rest of the recent grads, but doing it in such a way that glorifies God in all that I do.
I live at home with my parents, which is interesting, hilarious and trying all at the same time - much like life itself. While I know I will move out one day (in three years of less, Deo valente), it is fun being at home for an extended period for the first time in four years. I think the best part is not having to pack up and leave again every three or four weeks to bounce back and forth from here to Boston and back again. Plus, I just love Texas, and, being So Cal born and bred (that's Southern California), I never thought I'd say that... but, the Lord works in mysterious ways and apparently He gave me an inner cowgirl/Southern Belle.
I am a writer and an editor, while the talent lies in editing, my passion is writing- even if I do seem to be in and out of writers' block every two weeks regarding my own novels. God willing, one day the first will be written, the rest will surely be quick to follow and I will finally realize the dream I've had since I was knee-high to an ant: seeing a book on a shelf at the bookstore with my name on it, and God's!
